Hey... I'm Rick "Ziggy"W.
I'm from Indiana and I'm axiously waiting to pick up a 82 Honda 200, Sat. am.
Reluctantly I have to admit I don't know squat about them, but ready and willing to do what it takes.

I'm already enjoying what I've read.

I suppose many have seen the pic from Ebay. I talked with the guy on several occasions and got a good feel for it.
I hope (and really think) it's as good as he says.

We'll see.

Looks like it's in real nice shape. My first trike was an '82 200 and I had a lot of fun on it. Those old Hondas can really take a beating! They are a blast in the snow. Just don't go too crazy with a trike that has no suspension except for the tires.

Thanks... thanks to all for the welcome.

1st question, what parts interchange with the 200?
The only thing that is wrong with this one, the headlight is burnt-out.

I'm going to get it Sat. morning.

Hey thanks.

I'll need to see exactly what I'll need. No Bigger there.

Secondly, what about a rear cargo rack? Did they come with 1, or is there a variation of the 200 that will work?

im not sure on the rack, as im not a big red kindy guy, but I think it was an option, and you have to cut holes in the fenders to mount it, that thing looks clean I wouldnt do it. in my op

now thats something there to apreciate!!, I look like a hard core biker guy, but I got out of cycles a few years back, to many of my freinds got killed, (mostly becouse they didnt know how to ride) and I have had a few close calls, (idiot drivers) if I ever get back into it, it will most deffinitly on a hog, that looks real clean man!! very nice work, we know for sure know that little trike is in good hands.

I had a 73 74" FLH for years.
I got away from bikes as well. I happened across the Old Sporty and had to have it. Like the Trike, something I always wanted, ya' know?

If you care to see, heres a short slide show of the transformation

nice ironhead, old harleys get a bad rap, nothing like a solid mount Milwaukee vibrator.

Here is my 79 resto to date. Like the 200 also, Who says Hondas and Harleys dont go together.

Wow, that's looking good. I can't wait to see it together.
Is the frame paint or powder-coat?

Thanks for the pics and you're right, nothing like a Classic Ride! :beer

Base coat clear coat polyurethane. Everything has been sandblasted epoxy primed and painted. The motor is all new with kick and electric start. Need to find a way to stop spending money on the trikes so I can finish it.

That's what I used on my 2-tone. It's great to work with. What all do you have planned, stock, semi-stock or what?

As to my 200, I'm so anxious, I can barely contain myself.

Mr. Clean

semi-stock, no real major changes. I added an alternator, bigger peanut tank, electronic ignition, mini apes and 10.5 inch shocks. Everything else will be stock.

When you get your 200 post some pics. I found this website and about a month later I was driving home with a 250r in the back of my truck. Three months later and I came home with a truck and trailer full of 250r parts. Look forward to the pics.
