I have noticed a few of you dudes run to Attica quite a bit.

Would I be able to have a good time there on my 110? ... or is it all too much for such a small, unsprung trike? I've checked out The Badlands website, but just can't tell what the bulk of the terrain is like from the few pictures. Do they have dunes as well as single track and woods riding?

Thanks in advance! :-D

Hey Chem, would definitely be worth the trip! Howdy's boys had no probs getting around on their 70's last Sat.! How far of drive for you? Well worth 2-3 hr. drive for day(1 1/2 for us), or they have camping now! They're are hills you will have to stay away from, but plenty of other places you can ride. Not really dunes, but it is a sand pit, alot of the hills are sand. My suggestiopn would be to go! Chk. it out, $15.00/day! Good times!!!

my .02 :D

Al

btw- post up if you decide to go, might be able to sneak away for the day!

Als right, you would probably have a good time and be able to go most anywhere, save for some of the tall hills. Right now most of the terrain is fairly dry, even down in the woods/trail areas. This means that smaller machines would be more capable of travelling through those areas. Also, like Al said, the gravel pits are great for any type of machine.

If for no other reason, you should at least try it for the experience. At $15 for the first day, $10 for the second, and $5 for every day after, a multiple day trip is a good idea as well. Check the local riding page every once in a while and meet some of us that frequent the badlands and it will be more fun yet.

How far are you from Attica? I am about 12 minutes. (Al would love to switch me houses! :) )

Its awesome, and TimJr was able to handle everything out there on his E-Ton. If you want good pics of the badlands, follow the link in my signature!

Thanks for your input, guys. Attica is close enough, I have no reason not to check it out. Mapquest says Total Distance from me is 159.49 miles / Total Estimated Time: 2 hours, 46 minutes. That's nothing!!! Once I get the Wonten finished (hopefully in a few weeks) I will be able to figure out when a good weekend would be for me. I will have to start up a thread and call you guys out. The only thing that scares me is once i go pouncing around there on the 110, I know I'm gonna want another trike with more balls and suspension.

Thanks again.

Actually, if youre gonna run a trike with no suspension, the dunes are probably the most comfortable place to do it!

^^^what he said..

and chemical, i've only had my 110 since december and still haven't ridden it yet other than around the driveway a few times because of the snow, and now that it's all gone i'm still piecing it back together.....but when i ride it hard, i KNOW i'm gonna want a trike with more sack and suspension. That's why i'm probably gonna sell it for the 250r.

kilabeez0, another plus is that you will probly see about any kind of machine you could think of along with every type of rider there is.
