2 STROKE PIPE questions ??

I'm working on a drag project and trying too understand the head pipes/exspansion chamber. If smaller=torque Then larger means more top end what's best for drag and how large should you go for a drag only machine. this is over 500cc no its not the Tiger.

what kinda things do you need to take into consideration?

click on this link, go down the page to Reversibility. the animation will show how important pipe shape is to build power. I.E. wetline timing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-stroke_cycle



the wetline timing is important so you are making the exhaust wave refraction push the fresh / unburnt fuel back into the cylinder. Get the wave incorrect, you waste a bunch of fuel, or you can't burn enough to generate any usable power.
