Hey guy i'm new here, but i have ridden 3 wheelers for about 7 years (only 22), and owned them for just over a year, no 4 wheelers in my garage. I've got a restored 85 200X and a very very nice original (rebuilt motor/aftermarket parts) 83 250R. I'm looking to pick up a 85 350X this weekend and it needs the swingarm bearings replaced, anyone have a tech page in PDF for a link that i can look at to see how hard it will be to drop the swing arm off the chassis, and what it envolves? Also how long should it take? Thanks in advance, TC...

well.. assuming it takes no more work than a 86 200x, which it shouldn't.... 2 people, one adult, one teenager, replaced them in ~1 hour..... just pull the shock bolt out, probably should pull it completely off so its out of the road, pop the master link, pull the brake caliper off, undo the swingarm bolt, and PRAY it comes out easily... i think thats it.. but i always seem to forget something... just look for service manuals on the forum.. theirs a whole thread of em...

It's not hard at all... providing that the bolt actually comes out. Unfortunately, if the bearings are shot then it was probably neglected and the bolt will be seized in the frame. Then it's smash, grind, cut. chisel, heat etc etc until you ruin half the parts removing it. It stinks, but thats how she goes....
