Possible to put an 85/86 Honda 250R front fender on an 84/85 or 86/87 Tecate? Anyone ever try this? Interested to see just what the deal is with the swap.

need to remove rubber mount washers from the rear holes and use a couple of thin rubber washers either side of the fender, I used a couple of extra washers on the back to space the bottom of the fender forward away from the collector when turning, bolts need to be 5-10 mm longer on the back to make up for the spacers.

Got a pic of this?

So your saying the front holes line up and the rears don't?

If you decide to go with the "85 250R front, let me know if you want a green one. I only have 3 left.

I picked up one of these special order Maier green fenders for my 87 T3 project from Bigbore, much better that the bulky OEM part IMHO.
Heres a pic from a while back when i test fitted an old red Maier fender.

you can see the spacers on the one photo (009) and how close it was without on the other photo, I either had to spacer or cut the back of the fender off to make it fit
