What is up with those? Did someone take out the middle portion of a rim and weld it to a larger diameter rim so that the bolt holes matched up?

no the hubs are actually drums which are either from a car or a different quad as the wheels are not the correct ones either

swapped it for a 93 lt80 in bad shape at night the only decent thing about the lt was it ran everything else was shot i even used a socket as a chain tensioner as the back end was bent and the chain was too loose.

Pretty decent lookin Z. With a bit of elbow grease that thing will shine!
Your radiator shrouds apear to be in great shape too!

the shrouds are not too bad a few minor cracks, the fenders are a mess though.
the exhaust is not too bad it was joined by some silver tape which was a mess and the tail section held on by cable ties but all in all still useable.
the pegs however were bent and the right side broke off after a few kicks with the wrong kick start it came with.
i originally planned to just get it running and sell it but its looking more like a restoration project than a quick sale.
