When/How did you get it, and what is it?

My first trike was an 86 200x. I got it about 4 years ago. It was very reliable but just not fast enough for me. I paid 300 bucks for it from a good friend. Their was nothing wrong with it my friend wanted something bigger. So i sold it a year later for 800 bucks. Got my money back and then some. I currently own a 85 TRI-Z 250 I paid 700 bucks for it. My future plans for it is to get it bored 40 or 50 over and powder coat the frame and other things. Get new black plastic (mine is yellow and black). Hope to buy a 86 or 87 Tecate 3 and a 250R. That way i will have all 3 trikes that are fast and fun.

I guess technically my parents are the actual owners, but they gave us an 82 ATC 70 for christmas brand new that year.

I still have and will always have it. :-D

1985 ATC 350X. I bought it new in late 1985. I rode it regularly (at least weekly) for about 4 years, and had my first son. It sat in my garage with barely more than a cranking a year until the fall of 2000, when I decided to bring it back to life. Now I ride it once or twice a month, and it is as good as new.

my friend has two trikes that he got from his uncle who bought them new in the early eighty's. ones a 185s and the other is a 200 big red. theyre pretty crappy and we rescued them from the woods behind his uncle's house but theyre what got me into this pastime. we had so much fun on them, even tho only one worked at a time. i think the day is coming when they will both run at the same time :-D .

my granpa bought a 110 honda in 1979, and had it ever since he got sick a couple years ago, and gave it to me. so i am the second owner, but it was in the family.

... Technically I was the second owner of my '84 ATC200S - but, I bought it from my old boss who was the original, dealer purchased owner so I know its history quite well - I no longer have all of it, but when I bought it off him, he gave me all of the original paperwork including the sales floor price tags - that was pretty cool.

85 200s bought new by my dad in 85. 83 110 bought new in 83 by my grandfather 87 trx250 bought new in 87 by my uncle. My dad is the actual owner of all these bikes so the 200s he is the original owner and the other bikes were in the family.

I have recently restored my 1985 350X to showroom condition. I am the original owner but put some serious miles on it the first 7-8 years. It is now immaculate......by anyone's standards. I shiver to think how much money I probably have in it. I'm new to the board and plan on posting pictures soon. :-D

Cool deal, can't wait to see pictures of it. And welcome to the site! Any chance that your planning on going to Haspin?

Hey HondaATC,

Thanks for the welcome! I've been watching the message board for a couple of years now but mainly for short periods as time allows. I'm very proud of what I've accomplished with my 350X. I've spent about two years during the restoration process. I only lack a few small details to finish. I have owned seven three wheelers in my life, most recently an 86 250R that I got out of CA. It is sweet also. In fact, I just got it a few days ago and haven't yet had it out. But the 350X is still my favorite, especially since I am the original owner.

I haven't really thought about Haspin but definitely wouldn't rule it out! :-D

Sweet deal on Haspin, I'll have a long journey from here in FL but I'm planning on making it. Hopefully I'll have my 500X going by then.

i have another "family trike" my dad bought a ytm 200e back in 83, or 84, from a friend who owned a yammie shop. he has ran it for about 15 years, until it died.... yes, it just died. had spark, fuel, and everything else, but it just died.. a couple years ago we got it running :) but it really smoked :? we set it aside, and now i have it, and im working on it.
