hey guys i've posted a lot of topics 4 my 83' atc 110, i cleaned out the carb let it soak overnight in b-12 chemtool put it back on, new plug and boot, found a recoil starter from the bone yard. it has great compression, getting gas, generator works. it sounds like it wants to start but wont, i tried push starting it down my street nothing. im just wondering if i should just rebuild it,or let it go? my daughter still is asking to ride it , i feel bad that i cant get it running. now when it comes to cars i can get a knocking motor running a-1 ,but bikes are a different thing, thanx 4 the help

has it got fresh gas in it? does it have a spark at the spark plug, new spark plug? try taking out the air cleaner and see if it'll start then etc.

The disconnected air cleaner could be your problem.

Check the valve clearance. Is the timing set right?

how do you set the timing, and where is it?

I'd slap on that air cleaner. mine won't run without it.

Dude, you really REALLY need to bite the bullet and buy a Haynes Manual or something. Read through that (it has almost all you need, info-wise) THEN come back and fine tune your problems. :-D
