Ok, so as you guys may know i recently picked up an 85 Tri-Z. Mods include: DG pipe and silencer, v force reed cage and spacer, K&N filter, and has 215 psi of compression. It has a stock carb, and im wondering if anyone could give me a good baseline for the jetting. Im familiar with jetting in general, but have no experience with the Tri Z or Mikuni carbs- thanks in advance guys

What he said.

Knowing your gas/oil mix would help, but its been my experience that with your current setup, its highly unlikely youll end up above stock jetting, and more likley youll end up lower than stock.

Ill be running castor 927 at 32:1 with 110 octane gas. So do you think i should go back to the stock 45 pilot jet? I also found that i must have an aftermarket needle, would it be better to get a stock needle and go from there?
