i am currently installing the piston.. does the arrow on top of the piston point towards the carburator. thanks a lot

Arrow shows direction of flow, and always points towards exhaust.

yepp point toward exhaust, my friend bought a 400ex and it wouldnt run for crap so he pulled the motor out to rebuild and here the guy he bought it from said he just rebuilt it but couldnt get it run right, here he put the arrow pointing the wrong way and the valves ended up getting bend and alot of things messed up
