With ceramic coating you actually gain power?I had no idea

yes you can gain power as it keeps the HEAT in the pipe, and hotter air moves faster, so it works better, but for 30 dollars?? I dont think so.

yes it will!
We’ve all seen the guys on the starting line running cycle after cycle through the engine to get the pipes as hot as possible. They do that because they know that a hot pipe is a happy pipe. But when it’s winter and you stop for a few minutes to grab a smoke or wait for your buddies at an intersection, your pipe is cooling off. The same thing happens just by riding in sub-zero or in snowy conditions. The result is that you’re not running at optimum performance. The mountain riders have known and enjoyed the advantages of ceramic-coated pipes for years. Aggressive trail guys are just learning about it. With the ceramic coating’s superior heat retention, you will maintain a crisp throttle response with less bogging and better acceleration.

Yeah there are other insulators out there for 2-stroke pipe like a wrap of some sort looks kinda like carbon fiber.

Does this also apply to 4-strokes?
