I've seen a few posts regarding engine swaps and a whole lot of "just go buy a new bike"
I would like to hear stories of swaps that went well.

some of the easier ones are 250x with a 350x motor, trx 250r with a 350x motor and believe it or not a quad racer with a blaster motor

I know there are a LOT of posts asking if the atc200 motors will interchange (200s, 200e, 200m, 185s, etc.). Not just motors but lots of other parts as well, including frames.
There are always replies but I haven't seen a thread on one in the process, pics, etc.

I would say that it depends mainly on wat your skills are regarding the swap and wat you have to work with already and wat you have for a budget.P.s where are you from In N.b?

I may have a 300 honda engine of some sort(have not seen it yet)Prob trx300
If it works out I'm dumping it into my 200m!
Any one seen or heard of this done before?Or is it all about the racers
I'm doing this because I noticed some doorknob:crazy: welded the front sprocket on to my engine!
also I would like people to pull up ,Laugh and when I pull away scrach their heads

there is one trike that I know for sure the 300 motor will fit in and it's a 250SX. you might run into a head to frame clearance problem going from a 200 to a 300. measure both motors from bottom to top and see. as far as the hex stud in your swinger, find a bolt that has the same size head (probably metric) and use two nuts on the bolt (one to turn with, the other as a backup) and use it to back the stud out.

Hey Im from SJ too. The 300 motor wont work because its shaft drive unless its a 300ex motor but that would be alot of cutting and welding to make fit.

I just finished up a 300x (350x frame with 300ex motor). I saw a post by moshman355 on here showing one a friend of his had done and contacted him to see how hard it was . He told me it is a fairly easy swap and it is . The ex motor motor pretty much drops right in. The only problem I had was getting the header cut, shortened and welded to make it match up to the x exhaust .

Cheers to all from New Brunswick!!!
It seems across North America their is only one site for the 3 Wheeler obsessed.
I would go as far as to say there is not as much info, help, and dedication of members
out there for any other rec. vehicle as there is here.
Yeah I hope its not shaft,he said it was sprocket on the left but some people just don't know what they have.
I have a rear end from a 200es but it may be imposible to marry them together.
I'll cut, weld and force that thing in there if it will work in theory.
My Dad built a trike from a Super beatle engine and a harley .I need to take some pics.
Hey Any one in New brunswick have any make Engine 250cc or more four stroke, chain drive, sprock.on the left just in case I get there and its a lawn mower engine instead of a 300 honda
