I am thinking of selling my wheelers, but not sure if I can get what I want for them. First one is a 84 Kawasaki Tecate red plastic, mostly complete, 200x? rear axle and hubs, aluminum rims, turf tamers, plus the stock rims with 1 good tire. Plus I have a honda thumb throttle and they custom cable needed to put it on the trike. Only thing wrong with it is my buddy flipped at my bachelor party and f-ed up the plastic and silencer. I have some original red plastic, and a radiator gaurd on the way from E-bay (even has the mudflap holes) They were painted blue by the owner but you can see the orignal color showing through. It runs pretty good and has tons of power, but I like to ride in the woods and its pretty scary in tight woods. What is it worth, I have an idea but thas just get my money back out of it, want to know its worth it to sell.

I also have 2 1984 200x atc's both need the motors redone, one is in very good condition cosmeticly, the other is pretty rough. One motor just needs a piston and ring kit (I have the piston, and gaskets but the ring kit came with the top ring broke and I can't get ahold of the guy that I got it from off e-bay) From what I know from the previous owner they are all there (1 is for sure). Would sell as pair or part them out. Just curious what they might be worth.
Thanks,
Joe

Don't have any to show at the moment, I will try and get some tonight if its not to dark. Just need to know what you guys think is a good price is for a running 84 red t-3, with unbroken plastics. And for a good looking 84 200x that needs a top end (which I have all the parts for) and a fairly complete 84 200x parts machine. What would you guys say is a fair price for these (not as a whole lot, but t-3 as it is or the X's as they are)
Thanks,

84 Tecates generally don't bring much. Modded they still don't bring much. I'd give 750 for a good runner.

What do you mean when you say your Tec 3 has a 200X axle?

The axle that is in it is not the stock splines or the stock bolt pattern. I have the originals and they had the original hubs. From what I can tell they look the same as the 200x axles and splines, so I've heard that can be done with some minor mods. I will try and get a pic of tonight. Even the red ones don't bring much??? I thought they were more rare and brought more $$$ ?

Not that rare. Especially if yours is an 84 red Tecate. The red 85 is kinda rare.

Very interested in seeing that rearend setup. Please post pics or email them to James_escortracing@msn.com

Nope the best man in my wedding broke them. Got drunk for the bachelor party, figured what the hell, we got guns and a CBR600R powered Blaster why not get the T-3 out for some fun. Then I hear uh-oh that wasn't good. Look back and all I see is the front wheel sticking up. He comes up to me on it and says I'm so sorry I'll buy ya new ones. So I just bought some off E-bay that needs have the blue paint removed and repainted red. (they are original red ones) I even told him to don't crack it, it will come over faster then you can even blink, whats he tell me... and I quote "I didn't even go wide open and it threw my *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* off" So what do you thinkg the 200x's are worth?

I figured if I get one of the X's going (which I have the parts for) I could get between $900 for the pair. Thats about what they go for and being you get a almost (hard to find parts are there) parts bike that would be a fair price. Not running figured $600. They're worth that in parts alone. The T-3 I figured around $1000 being it runs, still standard bore with the nikasil plating or whatever it is, ricky stator ignition and I have good plastic and the radiator guard on the way for it. Not to mention the factory rims and hubs, with factory (junk) tires one them. So thats what I was thinking, does it sound like to much?

P.S. The X's may be spoken for, a buddy wants to trade me his truck for them. (needs a tranny)
