350x headlight or 250r headlight,which is best.

My 85 r came with a 350x headlight on it,Its not wired up right.I thought about getting a 250r headlight for it but wonder if the 350x headlight might be an upgrade with the 2 headlight setup.Anyone have any experience with a comparison.Thanx

in my opinion the 350x headlight is far better than almost any other trike light system out there

I would agree. I liked the lights on my 350X better than my R. Both are good.

The 350x lights do shine better, but I felt the lights on my 85 250r had a more solid wide range.

IMO the X lights are better. The X was made for the trails, not racing like the R so I would think they would put a better lighting package. And you can adjust the lamps out to the sides for a wider spread.

I've gone on night rides with several people on 350X's and my 86R headlight was very obviously brighter than all of them. The 1985 R headlight sucks though.
