thanks for all the earlier reponses guys. I'm just trying to sort this baby out. Heres my new question: Are the front forks from an 85 Big Red the same as an 84 Big Red? Going by all the pics I've seen they look very similar. ??????????

Totally different. If you need parts, you can go with 85, 86 & 87. They will all interchange.
