My Tecate is totally rebuilt and has low hours on it. Heck I dont think I have 5 hours on it yet. The motor was %100 rebuilt stock and is a strong runner. Im interested in the Sprock Cool Head but really dont understand the Domes. Whats the stock setup for one of these so I can order one for Trike Fest. Im not looking to go big, I just want to go stock untilll its time to rebuild. Can someone tell me the proper setup for stock. Also does anyone know of a good glue for my grips? Im going to need to glue myself onto my bars so I can stay on at the T.F. drags.:beer
Please explain how the domes work and all of that. Can I use certain Domes with the stock setup? Which ones, and what will they do? Thx
I see they are making cases for the Tecate. Ineed a right side case for my 84-85 Tecate. Are they making these? The one I saw on the Tecateconnection site is Hot:drool:

By switching domes you can change your cranking compression. The domes are built with a tighter squish clearance between the piston and head, and the angle of squish matches the angle of the piston crown. When your piston is at top dead center, the air and fuel is pushed towards the center of the dome where the spark plug can ignite the fuel. With a tighter squish more air/fuel will be closer to the sparkplug in a tighter area, so when the spark plug fires, more fuel will be ignited creating more horsepower. Also on the 85 tecate, the sparkplug is a little offset, where the billet head has a centered sparkplug to ignite the fuel faster and more complete. Not to mention, the billet head is designed to reduce your engine heat, which will help with reliablity and you will not lose as much power from overheating. If your engine ever fails and the piston beats up your head, all you will have to do is replace your dome, and your good as new!
If you want to order one, I can sell you one and give you a performance garrentee. If you dont feel a $250 difference in your bike, send it back for a full refund.
