.......got the idea to use truck bed liner paint (Duplicolor brand) since that stuff is supposedly so durable.

Turned out real nice I think. Time will tell how it holds up.

Sprays on real easy + the textured surface works great for old skid plates that have a bit of a bashing to them. Mine was in real good shape though.

I was even thinking of doing my footpegs but changed my mind and just went with normal paint.

Well if it peels right off I don't think the product would be on the market too long.

Your supposed to have a fairly rough surface, maybe your frame was too smooth, I don't know?

I'll certainly give feedback once I put it through a few tests but that may be months from now unless I go riding this weekend but going to be quite COLD !!

I'm pretty sure it would be lots of fun, I just bought some nice gloves too, figuring on the notion that it may get pretty cold and sure enough it will be!!!

I did the same thing with mine a while back. Works great. You can even spray paint over it.

Yea, it's certainly easy enough to touch up, this tuff blends right in and I'll bet you could not even see a touch up job.

You mean spray over with another color? I was wondering about that.
