HELP with a PWK carb on a triz

:crazy: Im tying to put my new PWK carb on and im having trouble with the throttel cable.... do i need a longer cable when doing this? reason i ask is, when the cabel is on the carb i tried to losten the cable as much as possible but it dont fit and suggestions... and its the OEM throttel cable :crazy:

I use a 250r cable on all my bikes its a little longer

do you still use the two cables or just one long one?

one long one 85-86 R cable but heres the thing is your throttle houseing threded to accept it?

yes thats what i did on one of them, find the right size and pitch and you will be all set! Now i just use warrior throttles allready threded and cheep!

hummmm! good idea where did you get the warrior throttle, EBAY?

yes of corse!! lol but you cant run the warrior cable!!! way short!!

WOW got the carb on and yahoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! its a screamer!!!! I need to get the gearing right my first second and third are quick shift then forth is a little fast and then your in 5! I currently have a 13 and 44 any suggestions would be appreciated!

go up to a 14 did ya get a cable? or a throttle?

I got a cable at the shop down the street I buy all my parts from him it was free, he even made it to fit! :)

so did ya replace the lower piece? or is it one cable? what size carb?

OH sorry! Its the two piece and I just had the lower one made :D Its a 39mm PWK. I have the head shaved ported polished, DG pipe, 70.0 bore and ceramic coating :)

I got a 15 tooth on mine but i got a phase 2

I have the phase 2 also.... so maybe 15 then. But wouldnt it be all top end then?
