Hi there,
I bought some parts including a ported cylinder. It needs to be bored (looks like a P6 1.50mm) to the next size and I have my current cylinder (stock porting 0.50mm) that needs to be bored as well. Since it is not a known 250r builder that ported the cylinder, I really don't know how good is the porting. I don't want to spend my money for nothing. Does anyone can say if the porting is good by looking at the following pictures or tell me what to verify? I can take pics on another angles too.

That looks pretty good from what I've seen. They haven't totally wollered out the boost ports and look to have kept a pretty smooth and uniform shape to them. The transfer tunnels look like the middle divider has been thinned and knife edged. Also the outlet from the boost ports into the tunnels by the intake side have been done pretty well. See how the sleeve has almost been ground flat? Thats good. The stock cylinders have a big ole nasty knott there thats right in the way of the flow coming through.

Pics of exhaust port and transfer outlets?

Put a degree wheel on the crank end and spill the beans. Port work can look like what ever you want................... it is the timing , duration, and the way it flows (roof angles) that will decide wether it is good or not.

that cylinder looks barely touched to me. They may have cleaned out the boyesen ports a hair, but the exhaust and transfers look stock.
