Can someone tell me how to hook up my tether swith. It is a handlebar mount Emgo that I got from a friend. It has the plugs at the end of the wires to jump, one is black and one is white. Thanks

It is a kill switch that has a rubber stop which engages a button on the switch. The rubber stop attaches to a lanyard which you hook to your wrist or sleeve. If you fall off the lanyard will pull of the rubber stop and kill the engine. It is required for a lot of race circuits, but I just got it because the 350X has no key and it will help keep the honest people honest and the stupid ones baffled.

Hook the black wire to a good ground on frame, then hook the white wire
to the neg. side of coil.that should ground out the coil and kill the motor
when cord is pulled.

Nice 350x. What all did you have to do to it?

Well, I had to change the front & back bearings & seals, rear pads, front tire, drill and tap the foot peg hole and reinstall, and change the sprocket hub. Then I straightened out the skid plates and did some touch up painting and the basic motor tune up. It starts great and runs nice, but I still need to adjust the valves and probably change the swingarm bearings next winter. I figured I'd better ride somemore before I put too much $ into it. I'm at about $1350 the way it sits. But that doesn't count the blood, sweat, and cussing :D
