When I purchased my 350X recently it did not have a headlight assembly. I purchased the stock assembly and hooked it up. The main bulb (right side) is bright. The high beam (left side) is very, very weak. I purchased a new bulb and it's still very weak. Any suggestions? I hooked the blue, green, and white wires up accordingly but I didn't know what the tan and white/yellow wires were for that remained. Hmmmm. Thanks for your help all.

Thanks Roofing Gun. Any idea what "OP" stands for?

Thanks Roofing Gun. Any idea what "OP" stands for?

OP is for optional equipment like a Speedometer or Tachometer. Those optional items have lights in them for night riding.

OK, There is no main bulb,,, the lights light as a pair, both of them should be on all the time, hi and low beam,,, The OP I think is for an optional light, say you had an illuminated speedo or tach, but I am not sure of it, those two wires are not hooked up on mine . You should check all your grounds, good luck

One of my 350's is like that too. You'd think it would be ground, but the wires for the left light plug into the same ones for the right light. Maybe try reversing the wires (plug the left light wires into where the right light wires are pluged into and see what happens)

look at the diagram closly, make sure that you need a paralell, or series circut. sometimes 1 light can pull to much power from a certain circuit, causing the other to be weak. also make sure that both the light's wattage is the same.

Problem solved. It was a rusty/bad connection. Thanks all.
