Gee, I dont know if this belongs in here (in this forum), but I have a set of Honda 200 rims I dont need, so i was going to post them for sale. My question is How the crap do you ship a set (2) of rims? and what are some prices you payd?
Dammit!

FedEx ground is usually 40% cheaper than UPS for me. Just make sure you go to a "fedex staffed" location and not some Mailboxes Etc type place so you don't get hit with any additional charges. They also do not charge extra for non-standard packaging so you could just wrap them up and ship with no box.

Do you think I could throw some shrink wrap and a lable on them and call it a day

Most likely. I've shipped frames with nothing more than some flexwrap on them.

Thats how my tires came when I ordered them from RMATV.
I just bought a set of front wheels and tires already mounted from a guy in Ohio. He put them in a cardboard box big enough (23x8x10), and taped the box up real good with shipping tape (or else the tires/wheels would've ripped the box apart).
Shipping was $24 for 2-3 day priority through USPS from OH to southern VA.

Yeah shrink wrap works great or you can do like I did and put some carb board between the rims and on the outside and used the super strong zip ties and some strong clear tape. Then just put the shipping labels on both sides. Fedex ground rocks they are 4 times cheaper than anyone when it comes to larger items or heavier. Heck it cost me 19$ top ship a 125 motor in a plastic tub.

You might want to take a little more better care into wrapping them, most these people abuse packges and seems how they well see there rims will probably toss them instead of carying them, you might get some dings out of it.

I always ship them in boxes. I use a box just big enough to fit the rims ( one rim upright and the other on it's side. I sent jeswineheart a set of rims before and he loved the way they were packaged. It was a fairly small box.
