Hey guy's,
Looking to get more power out of my Tuk-Tuk,gonna start with the intake and exhaust..Seeing as how it's a 4 stroke, forced induction is the first thing to come to mind...The only turbo I have laying around is too big,so I was thinking of doing an electric supercharger.....I'm gonna try to run it through a relay and TPS to make the boost more linear throught the RPM range maybe....
Just an idea going though my head,I've been around boat's quite a bit and it seem's that a 12v bilge blower would fit the bill since this thing doesn't require much air.....I'm looking for a small enough turbo to put on it,but haven't found anything yet....
The only bike's I've found reference to having a TPS is a Roadking, 07' honda crf150 and some kind of 1999 YZ??.....I'm looking for something that won't cost an arm or a leg and might be found in a junkyard.....though I might end up just attaching one to the current carb......
I know this sound's hairbrained, but I've made alot of more complicated thing's then this work, and it would just be until I find a small enough bodied turbo that the 150 might actually spool...
Thank's,DefEddie

I wouldn't dick around with an electric blower. I would buy a turbo from these guys

Thay have a turbo for a 5hp honda single cylinder engine thats all nicely fitted in a barstool.

Yep thats what I would do.

If you do this I wanna see pic's!

Funny you should post that site,I was thinking of using either their system or the megasquirt system to do an EFI motor for it.I program fuel injection on the side so it wouldn't be a real big deal to swap it.Decided to stick with simplicity though, might make it a rolling billboard if I ever do more than I am with the business...
That turbo would be perfect for what I need, gotta say though,I've been looking for awhile since I already have a lawnmower turbo project and I haven't found anything suitable or cheap enough yet...got a feeling the IHI in that stool is high dollar....Can't even find anything used, hence the reason for the electric,we are trying to make an alternator fit anyway so we can run a convertor for our charger's and fan's at the track..
