$100 Bigred

1983 200e
Well went out to West Salem this morning to pick this up? It has been sitting for a long time. I bought it off the original owner which was a very nice guy. He bought it in 84 and used it on His 5 acre farm. He later on traded it to a guy for some labor along with a dump truck. The guy was a hunter and took it out a couple times ended up nailing a tree. It will def need a new front end! Anyways long story short the original owner got it back and it sat ever since 97. I offered $100 and he took it. It has a ugly tank but Seems to have good spark and great compression. soaking the carb and petcok right now. Heres a pic sorry its so blurry new phone. What do ya think?

That tank looks to be aftermarket. Is it plastic?..................Sweet deal!!

ya the tank is plastic. I put some wd 40 on it and wiped it down Good as new! Got it started but the carb needs to be rebuilt it pisses gas out the bottom as fast as it comes in! Very quite motor.

I've never heard of someone doing that, only sanding and buffing. So now your tank is red and doesn't look faded?

it still has a light fade but looks a hell of alot better!
