Help Identifying ATC200 [Archive]

Hey fellas, I need a little help identifying my atc200. I think it is an '82 200e. The motor that was installed before my brother stripped it all down is a 200 electric start. It is chain drive. Here are some pics.

That there is an 82-83 ATC 200e. You have the wrong model plastics and incorrect forks on the trike.

I'm 99% sure it's a 200e as well. Check the vin on the frame. If the 10th letter is a "C" then it's a 82, if it's a "D" then it's a 83.

The plastics and forks were on it when we got it, and they all fit just fine.

Just checked the VIN. 10th letter is "D", 11th letter is "C". So this is an '83 atc200e I guess. The wheels/hubs have a 3 bolt pattern, not 4. Is this right?

Just to be clear. Are you saying the 10th DIGIT OR 10TH LETTER? I'm not sure if there are numbers before the 10th "digit" or not. But the 10th digit on my frame is a "D".

Okay now I'm really confused. My frame number is JH3TB0511DC317205. I checked the Specs Page and it seems to be a 1983 atc200. I don't know if it is a regular 200 or a Big Red.
The hubs on it are 3 bolt and it has 8" wheels. Now it states that both 1983 model 200's have 9" wheels. I do know that the forks are not original but I have a set w/suspension to put on.
The guy I originally got this trike from had lots and lots of trikes, especially 185s and 200's.
I'm wondering if he changed the hubs (front and back) for some reason.

Help, I'm confused :drool:

It's a 83 200e ( Big Red ) going by that vin. The stock hubs are 4-150mm and they had a 9" rim with 25" tires. Being as you have 3 bolt hubs with 8" rims on there, then some has changed them out.
