Picked Up Another Red Today

It's an '85 that runs but the wiring on the left side got chewed up by the guys dog and the seat as well. I even got the Title for it. Not too bad for $175 I think.
I do have the seat but about half of the foam is gone. Also have the side covers and an extra key.
I'm also going to be getting back the '83/'84 big red 200es from my brother since he tore it down and isn't going to do anything with it.

looks pretty solid... some surface rust.. but definitely a steal for 175....

Oh yeah it needs work, but I'm certainly not afraid of that.

what a steal i have been looking for a big red in decent condition for a decent price to fix up. and i never find them, what the hell. i passed a while ago on a 87 big red for 500 in nice condition, and instead of going and buying it when i herd of it i wait untill i got out of school the next day and when i got there it was sold. i was pissed, i know of 11 (85-87) big reds people have near me and no one will part with them.

Yeah I recently passed on an '87 250es myself. He just wanted too much for the shape it was in.

I just picked up an 85 big red for parts, Im using the rear end for my sx. I dunno what else is good on it but if ya need something let me know..I know the plastics are wasted, good keyed ignition, racks are decent, tires like the one under your battery still have the lil tits on em. The wiring harness doesnt look all to bad, maybe you could salvage it? seat is there but torn. The trunk lid looks pretty good! hehe

What about the tank? Hey have you seen the 350X w/12" swinger listed in Pierre Part?
