During my resto on my 85 110 I bought a UNI filter and a brand new Cobra exhaust. Will this thing fire up when I go to start it or do I need bigger jets?

~~Once I buy a new cam I'm sure I will, but then i'll need a new intake and carb :-P

Just installed a Cobra on my 86 200X I had to rejet it from 112 to 115. If you feel a loss of power and it backfires, you will need to rejet.

what increments do jets come in, and where can i get them? I might as well get them in advance just in case. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the incraments. I went down to the local shop and he had a tacklebox full of jets seperated by size. It only cost me $4. I'm going to pickup a 118 today to see if helps out on some other problems I'm having..

Jets numbers go in the following pattern 100, 102, 105, 108, 110, 112, 115, 118, 120, ..... It is the same pattern going down below 100 too.

Higher flow air filter and higher flow pipe probably requiare a bigger main jet, try one size bigger first, and read the plug. If that is not enough, go another size bigger

are the jets universal in fitment? Or do they have to be model specific? Would any jet work in any carb is basically my question. Thanks

There are keinen jets, amd Makuni jets (I cannot spell either one) Stock honda carbs are keinen, and the jets all interchange. The different trikes just use different sizes.

most likely, think of it this way. the two components give you more air flow, with the same amount of fuel. so that means a lean mixture. i would go up 2 sizes, one for exhaust, one for filter, cause i have seen many people go up 1 and still be too lean, and they were a lot happier going up two jet sizes.
