Well folks, here is the 83' ALT 50 that has been on the shelf for over a year. It is time to begin. I'm going to use the engine from one of our lt50's to get it rolling.

Those things are so cool. I think they may be cooler than atc70's

That is a bad ass quad, and the trike is also awesome! Are you gonna make the trike look like that?

They roll very easy. When my son was 4 he had been riding a Lt50 Quadmaster for a while and whem I came home with the ALT50 he rolled it so many times I had to get rid of it. It was a rugged little machine. We had it for about 4 months.

the trike will have a yellow frame and plastic, black fuel tank to look like my Z, yes, it will be hooked up like the lt as far as being pimped out.

Thank you very much! That was my fathers day and birthday gift 3 years ago. I was a factory Land Rover tech for almost 5 years.

I did some measuring today.... A Pro-taper bar clamp for a CRF50 will bolt onto the ALT....... that would be F.A.C.T.O.R.Y. :D

Gentlemen.... Suzuki is a bunch of very smart mofo's :D The four bearings in the crankcase / transmission of these things are the same. only the lower con rod and pin bearings are different. That is a great idea! Super simple :D

my dad is picking my boys up this morning so I can finish the paint and start assembly of this little beast. I decided to go with paint, rather that powder for some cost savings. I'll post some pictures of my progress.

The ALT 50 is a cool little rig, and people dont realize how small they really are from a picture, I restored one for the Honda collection Hall they are doing a display of all the small 3 wheelers from the era to show it up against the ATC70, I also did a tri zinger for the display , alot of the parts are still avalible , the only thing you will not find is a NOS front fender i had my buddy Ric at ATC heaven in australia mold one from the old one in fiberglass and we fluffed it from there it looks spot on , I attached some pics of it in the crate leaving the shop and at the collection hall in japan , good lucjk with your project it should be a fun one

Last friday, I packed it over to my sign guy's shop. My son thinks it was "stolen". It is getting some "custom" decal work done to it. His birthday party is on saturday, he will get to unwrap it in front of the entire family. I found a pallet box at work to put it in too! I'll post pictures of him tearing into his gift. :D
