I just saw on the weather channel some guy drove his truck onto a lake in Minnesota and fell through some thin ice. There was a Honda Atc185 or 200 in the back of the truck. I was wandering if it was any of you guys?

Not me lol!!
I saw that too,I posted before about the lakes not being safe(a guy died falling through on his ATV),I dont think when it's almost 40 you should be out on the ice with a several thousand pound vehicle,it's just nut's!!!!!!!

Where did he fall in? I wouldn't mind going on a treasure hunt.

From what I saw the truck was either floating real well or it was only part way in. They showed them towing it out of the water with the 3 wheeler in the back.

LMAO....this has been goin on for years. I first remember visiting Minnesota around '93.....you could go over the bridge and look down and see all the trucks and RV's under water, it was insane, it's just not worth it to lose all that, especiall and ATV OR ATC...that's just a sin to put into harms way.

I live in the finnger lakes area and believe it or not they drive snow plows onto the ice to make tracks for racing.

It all comes down to common sense. And knowing the lake you are driving on. I have driven on a local lake back in 93 and we had 15in of clear ice. There were many cars out there and had no problem at all. That was my only time doing it. Kinda cool considering i live in northern Indiana. Oh and i saw the clip and it looked like a 81-82 atc 185. Had small gas cap in chrome, no front suspension and i could definately make out 185 on tank. And it was not the orange-red 80 model. 83s had front suspension. Looks like the trike survived just fine. Hell it would have floated anyhow.
