Hello
I recently bought a 250sx that the owner put a 200x front end on it. I am looking to buy new brake pads for the 200x front brakes but unfortunately Dennis Kirk lists different pads for the 83-85 200x and the 86-87 200x. Does anyone know what the difference is between the two and how I'd determine which year front end this is?

Thanks for all the help!
Mike

I thought 82-84 250r, 83-87 200x used the same calipers and pads. Difference was in the caliper brackets.

Thanks! I looked over the part numbers for both on Dennis Kirk and found that they are the same. It's weird because there was one set of pads that they stated to be for 83-85 so I assumed they were different.

BTW The 250sx is a new toy for "me", actually it was a present for my youngest brother. My parents and I bought it for him for Christmas.
