it has been parked for the last 12 years. there were dirt dobber nest on top of old dirt dobber nest. I still have lots of cleaning to do.

well i have not finished the cleaning yet. I did clean the carb and slapped some holeshots on it to check it out. it runs great!!! plans are to get back 100% stock. i need an exhaut, seat, handle bars, and few other small parts. i have the original tires but i do not want to shread them!!! :Bounce

LOL, actually that is the only bolt holding it on. i had them off cleaning under them. it was in a cattle barn so the dirt is everywhere.

yes it ws the guy in ms. long story but son goes to college, pisses dad off, dad dies 10 years later, son gets bike, son borrows $$$$ aginst bike, bike sits 2 years, lender sells bike to me.

The water pump is white from the dirt dobber nest built up on it. you cant see too many of them in that pic but it was covered in nest.

I may keep it but if i do i will ride it. there are no garage queens at my house :beer

i guess, here is the south they are dirt dobbers. they make little mud nest. some use a red mud and make a tunnel and others make a white paste and cacoon their young in it.

and, they build their mud nests in the strangest places. I had one build in the intake frame tube on my 200S, completely blocked air off to the air box. I ran it with the airbox lid off for 3 monthes till finally the nest broke loose and ended up dropping down in the airbox. I had no idea it was in there. The problem fixed itself, but now I always check for dirt dobber nests in the airboxes and stuff.

It is a wasp. Nasty little guys. They do make there nest in the nastiest little places. Incredible little insect.
