I am building a bike from the ground up

I placed a order for a frame, no-link swinger, shock and I will have the frame setup for no-link swinger, to use 450r peg mounts, removable sub-frame, 450r master cylinder, 88/89 rear motor mounts. Also in the near future will be inverted forks, cutsom short track tripple clamps for the inverted forks. I think nerf bars will be in order too. I'm hoping his bike to be ready by march.

I am gonna use a 250r motor, Hre racing is gonna make the frame and stuff. I am gonna use my current motor, 310pv, cr ignition, pt hi-rev, 39 pwk. I'm not sure what else yet, but when its complete its going to dirtwheels. You guys that race in Ohio will defintetly see it.

dude use a 450R motor or even a 250F! modern powerfull easy to obtain partts

I called up other companies(got a machine) and they never returned the phone call. I'm guessing they basically laughed it off.

I don't want a 4 stroke, If I was gonna use a different motor it would be a ktm525, but thats way too tall to keep the geometery of the atc250r.

you will probaby never see that atc450r, my bike you will see as soon as everything is in and I put it together. I'm thinking of black plastics w/ black short track tank and shrouds.

sounds siick man.i gotta get my mx-r back together too.lots of new parts for it.mainly all new bushings,bearings,clutch,new reeds,new color scheme,new shock linkage bolts,new radiator hoses,and new chain and sprockets.no motor work this year.my elka has to be serviced,new oil,and stuff,but thats about it.hopefully you,and a few others will join in on our great local racing scene.i know of at least 4 guys that will be there every race.hope to see ya soon!!

one question

why did you choose the no link over the cr500 set up? i have been looking into modding a stocker just for kicks.

I have a bike with a no-link already, no-link and cr500 is just as good, no-link shines in whoops and corners. Also a cr500 shock is off-center and might be in the way of intake tube.
