snapping nois??????

my 86 honda 250sx makes a snapping nois when i shift gears or when i am in 1st gear, hit the throttle, and let off, it snaps when it powers down. im not too great at explaining things but if it sounds like something you know about please let me know. thank you all

I have 2 of them and haven't had any problems that your describing. start the good 'ol process of elimination. or Ride It Till It Breaks.
