Still can't get this guy to sell this ..........

..........1973 ATC 70 to me. Been a year and a 1/2 now.

He won't contact the real owner and it just sets and sets, year after year in this garage. Something don't smell right with the story as he seems to NOT want to contact the real owner. Maybe they did work on a car and the 70 guy never paid, who knows?

The garage guy tells me he can't sell it since it is not his and I came back with a "well after so many years, it legally is yours" he shook is head NOPE, not interested in selling it that way, MUST talk to owner. He has not seen the guy in years. I offered $125 then 150, still didn't interest him in selling it.

Any other suggestions ???? :(

offer more money find what he wants and trade him mabey some oil? a case of beer heck mabey a keg of beer find out what he wants get it cheap and trade. ask about the owners car he worked on do some dective work contact them yourself its worth a shot

ill tell ya how i got a 350x outta this guys backyard (it had both rear axle bearings out and had eat up the holder) i had done just like you went back numerous times with no luck, then one day i went buy and seen his 2 boys out front and i went back to the shop loaded up a 80 model atc90 i had ,took it back over there and told him id trade him the runnin 90 and 150.00 dollars for the "X". I unloaded the 90 and the boys hopped on it and the deal was done...lol :naughty:

I have the same problem with getting a 1982 185s, its just sitting and sitting on the edge of this guys property. I asked him about it and he said it has been there about 10 years just sitting and i asked how much he said free but he needs to clear it with his father in law first and that was 3 months ago. He sees him all the time and another thing the guys son was going to tear it down to use the motor and rear end on a gokart when he was my age (10 yeas ago) plus now its siezed.
I just hate when people are like that another guy did that to me with a car to but thats a whole different long story
