Anybody have any info on a fork brace for 85/86 350x

I just got a fork brace for a 85/86 350x, It should fit the 84r front end on my 200x, does anybody know if its any good???? Would it be like a similar effect as the fork brace I put on my xr250r?

a fork brace...is that so when you tie down the bike by the bars the shocks dont compress all the way?
