If it has rear suspension it's a 225, if it's a hardtail either 175 or 200. Does it have reverse?

LOL...put the bike in first gear and pull the reverse handle back towards the back tire. to go forward push the handle towards the front tire. It has to be in 1st gear in order for reverse to work.

It's a Yamaha TRi moto 200ERN. drive shaft, reverse, no shock in the back, electric start.

Funny thou this is the second time in 24 hours i'v answer questions like this about 200ern, are these things coming out of the wood works or what? all of a son there's thousands of these, and about 2 weeks ago i couldn't find one person with one:)

I have a YTM200ern and it's great... If it has reverse the lever is on the left side by your calf.

I forgot to ask, does this bike have chain or shaft drive? 1984 i don't show any signs of any 175 being made that year or any year after 1983. and you said it was a 1984...lol...

I had a 175 just like that back in the '80's. It was a 2-stroke. I thought the 200's were 4-stroke?

they didn't, as far as i know, any thing below 200 i was pretty sure was a two stroke, anything above 200 EXCEPT the TRI Z and maybe a few others was a 4 stroke.

lol i do agree wit it being a mess

ok but i think we all agree it is a 200e. thanks for all of the help guys.

ok now that i know what it is maybe i can find a crab kit for it..

it runs great but it smokes pretty good and the float is sticking in the carb so if you do not turn of the fuel it will all end up on the ground.
