Ceramic coated 250 R pipe?

Is there a way to tell if this is a ceramic coated pipe?

I am going to sell it but would like to know if it truely is ceramic coated and if I can paint right over it if I clean and rough it up some?

I think this is a 81 or 82 250 R pipe? Can anyone tell me the exact year?

it might be ceramic spray paint but that all

thats a 1981/2 250R pipe. The pipe did not change throughout the two years to my knowlege.

yea pipes definately worth a blast and new powder coat job- its in great shape
