i dont know of any big bore kits made for the 200 but i do know that there are a couple of high compression piston kits sold for it... wiseco has a full line of high compression kits for the 200... also im pretty sure small things like adding a 200x carb would help... aftermarket exaust.. and some porting... but just remember your not going to get much out of the 200... but it will do very good for what it is.. ive had 2 of them and liked them alot.. torquey little mofos...:w00t:

Il bet ya 100$ says that HArley pipe is to straight threw and doesent have enough backpressure for your trike to run at its top? Wanna bet?

There is a 198cc kit for the 192cc cylinders but if you also get your crank done, it will bump the CC's up to 210cc. This is on www.powroll.com

If you do both of those, buy the race cam and springs, porting, 28mm carb, and pipe(race gas to with 12:1 piston) and boom! Will stay up with a poopie 350x for sure!

no bet for me. i know its not letting my do jack shiz. it will get a reall exhaust after x-mas and bills and front end is payed for. then on to engine mods.

ok may be a dum question but by race gas u dont mean high grade from the pumps do you? if so i already run it because i have a 12:1 already. well i think it is. i had the head off a while ago when i did the gaskets and seal. i forgot what it was. the writing was plain as day. all i really want is a cam, pipe and 28mm carb. but i would like a bigger bore kit on it. like i said im only 2mm bored now.

I would go with the 198cc kit for the XR200 on Powroll.com with the 12:1 piston. Also using the high torque cam or the Race cam(cheapest for some reason) and the valves. You will have a wicked top end. You could probably clean out the head abit when you go with the XR200R carb(28mm) but u will have to use the XR200 intake as well or the 200x on I do not remember. Someone on here knows. I'm pretty sure you can use the 200x one and just bore it out. I think thats what I did. I do not remember. But also can clean out the exhaust port for some better flow and clean all of the carbon off of the valve area with new valves from a 200x. The 200x valves are bigger than the XR200 ones so stick with 200x valves. You could also buy the XR200R bottom end and have a 6 speed kick shift which should bolt into your existing chassi since the 200s motor bolts into the 200x chassi so it should be like vise versa? Now, race gas. With a 12:1 piston, you will create a lot of heat and you will need a higher octain gas. You would need to go with either aviation fuel or VP race gas or whatever. I reccomend 110 or higher. Someone else will chime in with something else but this is my take on a good non-stroked 200 motor.

if i was you id stop putting money into to the 200s just ride it as it is...they are fun bikes (id like to have another one myself)and you should get you a 200x or 350x instead and put some money into them you will probly be happier in the long run

His is already at 67mm which is a time bomb. That size usually pulls the bottom of the cylinder sleeve off. 185's and all the Honda 200's including the 200X use the same size valves. I would, if funds permit, send your crank to Powroll for a 64mm stroke job, hunt around for a 200X cylinder and have it bored to 66mm/10.5 to 1 compression for reliability and get a Toko drop in cam off Ebay. An XR200 carb will bolt up to your standard manifold, you just have to port it to match. These mods are reliable and will make your trike pull like a 15 year old.

Bored 2mm over..your 192cc motor is 203.78 cc's. I wouldnt be getting the 198cc kit

My advice is to unscrew the trike from the gas cap and install a 200x

oooo come on now guys i love my little s. it does what i want it to do and nothing less. i wanna put some work into it. it is my first trike and a can afford to get another trike espesily a better one such as a x or big red. we'll see what happens money wise.

His trike isn't at 203cc...i think your math is wrong. That seems a little high for a 192cc sleve.

so you guys think my bore is good enough

No, that is right.

Stock
Bore: 65mm /2 radius= 3.25cm
Stroke: 57.8mm = 5.78cm

(pi*3.25cm^2) *5.78cm = 191.798cm^3 or 191.798cc's STOCK

Bored .040 over or 2mm over
Bore: 67mm /2 radius = 3.35cm
Stroke: 57.8mm = 5.78cm

(pi*3.35cm^2) *5.78cm = 203.7827cm^3 or 203.7827cc's (With 2mm overbore)

Simple mathematics:welcome:

Its still only a 6% increase from stock...which is hardly worth it. Carb, piston, porting are better mods that boring a stock cylinder...only bore when you have too...to clean up a scored or damaged cylinder wall.

2mm = 80thou. The simple formula is bore x bore x .7854 x stroke = cc's
