Can some one post the part # for smaller 84-85 tecate back sprockets Id like to come down a few teeth to aid in winter conditions.

Come down a few teeth? A smaller rear sprocket will make the bike faster on top and lose some of its torque.

A bigger sprocket, like a 45 will give you a slower top speed and more torque.

Na, I havent gotten my miltech and its driving me nuts that I havent had the chance to get it. It's in a hiatus state right now, I'm trying to get the engine rebuilt in my '85 200X so I can sell it and fund my tecate. Plus the band I'm in is doing really well and I'm having a hard time dividing my cash up between my band and my toys. It'll all come togethor soon I hope, if not it'll be another year of not riding.

I really hate to have to sell the X as it was my first trike and love the thing to death but I am a really big guy and the way I ride it, its really hard on the whole thing. As my buddy told me I should put a light switch where the throttle goes, cuz when I rode it the throttle was either all the way open or all the way closed, no in between.

Who ever i sell it to will enjoy it for years to come as I rebuilt the chassis ie. all the bearings replaced, new sprockets and chain, forks rebuilt with progressive rate springs, new bars(I bent the old ones), new throttle and clutch cables, rebuilt carb, repacked DG exhaust, rebuilt front and rear calipers, rebuilt front and rear master cylinder, the engine is being built from the ground up with new bearings through out the entire engine, 10.25:1 Wiseco, an un-used OEM cylinder, rebuilt crank with new rod and bearing. The thing looks really good, not mint but in real good shape.

I want ground clearence and more top speed. I have 2 back 42 teeth and 13 and 14 front. my buddy on his tri z he has a 10 on the front.

38 tooth plus a 14/15 front...that should put you in the 79mph range with 22 inch tires.

Im hopping when my box of tecate parts comes in. Im hopping to plan a trip up there to go fishing.
How much does it cost for a temp fishing license? Do you know of anyone else who rides a 2 stroker? What do you do about lights?

Not big into fishing. Don't think you need a lisence to trout but you will need one for salmon. Not much for a lisence.

I have friends with Banshees and Scramblers.

I don't run lights but I do want them.

Not sure, Costal Marine in St.John's?

Fall to see the beautiful colours and spring/summer to enjoy the weather.

Im not into fishing either but when you see the fish here. You would know.
I don't hunt and it wont cost me as much if I can get the old man to tow our bikes up.:lol: Win Win situation. I hate the heat so If I can delay my spring by your late winter,mint. I love the rock climbing. Bike, Fish, Drink.
Coastal motors is now a suzuki dearler ship in Corner brook area. They were a Honda/Yamaha dealer. up near Glover Island or lake. Im not sure.
So No other trikes 4 strokes included?

Loads and loads of fourstroke utility trikes and a dozen or so twostroke trikes kicking around but none in really good shape. A couple of 350X/200X's around, no other performance trikes in MY area to ride with however.

These are pics of my bike but Big Green lightened them for me. No I have cable Just it always seems slow.
These pics are with my frame grabber green. Sorry my bike is dirty. That was taken 5 min into her refit. hence no fuel line ect. My tires are all flat I like the back like that but not the front. I hate my front tire as its a direction tire.

thats my slip on muffler.
Take a atc 250r muffler and turn it backwards and it lines up nice.
If you look at the left side of my front fender. You would not know this but almost from the forks all the way to the bottom was broke completly off. Ill have more up to date pics soon.

Not talking about the silencer. I mean the exhaust that comes right off the cylinder. It isn't stock. Looks like a Bassani...or some other cone/section pipe.

The magneto is screwed. But the rest works great. It looks like an 83 kx 250.
Hence the lean for the kx cylinder.

As far as what it is I have no clue Big Green. It was on a shop wall where the previous owner bought it. His pipe was wrecked.

Contact Moose53 on this forum and send him your magneto. He can rewind the coils to make it work like new. The install the magneto, flywheel and CDI box on your Tecate. It will rip!

The pipe is not stock, positive of that. With the reeds, T4 carb, KX igniton and that exhaust your Tecate has some great potential. Now fix all that is wrong with it and have fun.

I also have a tecate 4 ignition system. Does it hurt the lightning coil if one or more wires are broke?
