going to pick up the Tecate 80 wednesday 4-16!

I will post pics of it as soon as I can. Not gonna be home till late tomorrow, or I woulda posted then. For those who have not seen it, its actually a KX80 with an old 3 wheel conversion kit on it, make by a company called "pro-design" It looks to be about an 85 model. liquid and everything. very cool.

Cool, so pro design made that kit? Wonder how it will compare to a 200x, I bet it will beat it hands down. Did you call maier about rear fenders?

The articles I've read about the 3 wheeler and 4 wheeler KX80 kits say they are little top end monsters that handle well.

Here's the 4 wheeler, but it's a Hi-Performance ATV kit. The same guys who make the 3-wheeler to 4-wheeler kits. I think it's different from the pro-design chassis.

Holic I think the bike your getting has a chain adjuster like this KXF 80. Take a look at the swingarm in front of the rear tire. I believe pro-design used a 85 Tecate rear axle/hub set up. The first pics shows the pro-design kit and you can see the 85 tecate style rear end. You may be getting a Hi-Performance kit. I can't wait to see some good pics!

yea this is a VERY old thread, i know. I need some answers to some questions though. :D is this "pro-design" the same company that made the cool heads for 250R's and what not? Does anyone have some pics of this beast? Jeb, do you have any scans/info about those magazine articles? thanks guys My email is dizasterzrfun69@aol.com
