Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a 4 inch extended swingarm for the 250r. Does anyone know what size chain I will need after installing this? How about the brake line...where could I get a larger brake line?
Thanks for your help.

I saw that one on eBay. Pretyt good lookin. Got too high for me after about $60 though. =(
As for your questions....youre obviously going to need a brake line thats 4 inches longer than stock....and a chain that has 4 inches of extra links.

sportsvette, jlatvproducts.com has S.S braided ext. lines(red, blue, black) for about $50.00. They also sell chain (D.I.D.) in various (link) lengths.

thanks for the info everyone. ill check out the stock brake line, as someone suggested that it is looped around, and will fit when re-routed.
for the chain length, ill try putting the chain on, so that the open part of the chain is by the rear sprocket and hopefully i can count the links that i will need. speculation isnt going to help me here, since i need the chain length in links.
thanks.

I can't find any extended swingarms on EBAY. I need the whole setup with the swingarm, shock, and Linkage. For 84' 250R. Can anyone help me?

People keep telling me to leave the swingarm alone. What is too long?
Isn't bigger better??

You could measure on your current chain how many links are in 8", and then add that many links to your current chain. Or, you could measue it the way you described. If you do it that way, be sure you have the carrier set to the center (equal amounts of chain adjustment tightening/loosening available), then count your links needed.
