View Full Version : Z is Almost Rolling....
Well after alot of money, Beer, and cusing the Tri-z is fineally coming togther, this started as a complete Basket Case, and pretty much had everything but the Frame replaced on it, its a 85' but im running a Recent Rebuilt 86 6 speed, has a little porting and the head shaved down a tad, for now, Running a 39mm PWK and a DG pipe, Completly Went though this thing, New swinger bearings, Carrier, Steering, Fork Rebuild, New rear shock (not pictured) a Billit kit from ronnie (not pictured) new bars, sprockets, chain, Rims and tires ( not pictured) new plastic, Twist thottle, Lots of polishing, and paint..........Almost there! Future plans are a Big bore Stroker With Some Radical porting, and Bottle fed, Gota Smoke all dem Big bore 450's round here out on the ice.....:beer

looking good josh .Im going through the same process.my z is coming along slowly but this spring it will be worth all the time and effort i put into hereis a before and after pic it belonged to somebody on this site im not sure who though.

Yea it takes time and $$$ iv been collecting parts and whatnot for the last 2-3yrs....dont have any before pics, on my old PC witch blew up....:lol:

Hahaha, Yea i know......Now theres a story Behind that.....me and a few buddies and and some beer.....But its coming off Just been Little lazy......:lol: :beer

RTV silicone is not compatible with gasoline and if you run that engine with the intake sealed like that watch for an air-leak shortly after. Be careful because you can easily go lean enough to grenade the top-end.
Looks like it's going to be a sweet trike when your finished!
Looking good.what shock is that on there??? and what shock link are you using???
Thats the old Stock shock...the link isnt on properly i need to order new bearings for it yet, just kinda threw it togther, Plan on getting a 01 raptor shock or something of the likes....
