Does anyone know where I can find a new one or a rebuild kit for the rear caliper?

Thanks

85-89 250r's have the same calipers, but 85 having a different mounting bracket and 85 and 88/89 having a different color.

Buy the oem parts from the dealer, they will proabably have to order them. Plan on spending about $100 complete the rebuild every seal, o-ring, dust seal, and pistons in it.

The kit is like 25$ with all seals and bleeder cap and rubbers. But your pins have to be free or you better know how to get them out without ruining the caliper - check the search feature on the forums, lottsa good reads.

That kit I bought from ????? ATC Wrench knows and alot of other members, I just can't remember the name this moment. Not Honda parts but I've now run my caliper for 2 years with no problems.

Most of the used EBAY calipers are in need of a rebuild so it's much easier to rebuild yours if it is a good candidate.

Someone on EBAY is selling brand new calipers but they aren't OEM and I can't imagine that they are built with the same tolerences as OEM. Not sure how they work, maybe someone can tell us but I'm sure the pads they come with will wear out quickly.
