Hello,
I have a busted  up trike that a friend of mine sold to me. needs a new front sprocket and some carb work. The part have been ordered, but i can get to the sprocket. The side cover will not come off to reveal the sprocket. Whats holding it back is the center peice that spins in the middle of the magnieto. I can no get this cylinder shapeds peice off... maybe a lock key is needed??? not sure.. if ne one could give me a few words of wisdom.. thanks you

You need a puller to get the Flywheel off. You might check with the local dealer they may pull it for you for $5. The puller cost around $10 I think.

:o sounds good is it a universal tool or specific for this model?

it is specific for that model, it may be interchangeable with a 90 also. My local dealer charged me $19 to pull it off. There's a guy on ebay who sells stuff for 110's all the time, i think his name is HKC1, I bought a ton of stuff off of him for my restoration, and he mentioned he had that puller for $19 after I had already had it removed :?

:( I got the flywheel off and is also back on... the elctical system works because the light lights up when trying to get started but i have no spark. I was wondering if it needs a new magneto? This trike is my first project and i am determined to get it running if anyone could please help me...

Check the cdi unit and ignition coil :?

Well, not the CDI as the 79's had points... but yeah, check your ignition stuff.

Is there still a possibility that its the magneto tho?

no, your lights wouldn't work if the magneto was shot. check the points, and connections.
