big red problem

i was climbing a poleline and lost power to the rear wheels, the bike makes a clicking noise when in gear but in neutral it was fine. the drive shaft and u joints are working, the ring gear moves but the axle wont turn. any help or advice would be best kind

same exact thing happended to my bigred~ either the axle or ring gear splines wore out...more than likely BOtH!
