Looking to buy a PV 250r? Any suggestions? I see PSI and Duncan have the kit.

Lrd has them too, so does Esr, but I don't like esr's porting(its too hit or miss). I have 2 lrd ones, they weren't cheap, but they sure run fast.

PSI makes some FAST motors.....personally rode the 425R kit......FAST FAST FAST is the only way to explain it..

Can someone post a link to the "Duncan" and "PSI" websites please? I can't seem to find them. Thank you. :)

EDIT: I found the website for Duncan Racing, and I think PSI Performance, but is PSI a snowmobile engine shop? That's all I could find for them...

I would go with a 310 setup from ESR over a powervalve cylinder.

Does ESR use Nikasil and ceramic coating?

psi's engines are short lived and can have very annoyng problems, also keep in mind the bigger you go the more vibration youre going to get.

PSI claims the 265PV makes 60 to 75HP and their 330 makes 175HP. Can that be true?? 175HP Holy cow!

Dont even ask what there big boy 425 makes for HP. Holy cow! BTW the one on Ebay i would stay away from. The seller seems shady. Wont give me decent answers to my questions. I hope your not a member.

Esr is good ive seen alot of fast bikes come from them. My cousin had his trx built with a 410pv (dont even ask how much that cost him) but he whent into esr and asked them about it and Eddie was a dick about it, if youve ever meet eddy you know what i'm talking about. So he ended up sending it off to CT and got them to do it all. Ended up as a bad ass bike. Duncan racing is good too i havent found a banshee thats still a 350 that can hang with my national kit, but thats a banshee not a 250.

as far as Nikasil, I believe so. What do you want ceramic coated, the piston? Don't waste your money, it flakes off and goes through your combustion chamber and does more harm then good. Been there, done that.
