What is up with the 350X parts on ebay ? I've been watching some Hondaline parts and a new in the box tank for an '86 350X sold for $1300.00 , a Hondaline rear fender just sold for $1500.00 plus $100 shipping !!! A low hour '86 350X sold for $6500.00 !! I've been outbid three times for three different tool boxes for the X each sold for around $80.00 . Now I know you can't get these parts from Honda anymore , but who's paying that kind of money ?!? The complete 350X was sold by infinity-cycle who just happened to be one of the bidders for the gas tank, they changed the bidding to private party before the bidding was over on the gas tank so you couldn't see who won it. The sum of the parts really is worth more than the whole!

That it the wild world of e-bay!! Last year a set of OEM rears for a '86 350X went for 2175.00,not including the shipping!!! The 350X is deffinatly a hot item on e-bay,my guess is that you will see better auctions than that on the 350X's before to long, and Yes people will pay for those NOS items!!! Including me ,LOL !!!Check the E-bay forum ,you will be astonished ,But be nice on that forum, been alot of action on there as of late!!!!!

I have never understood the 350x phenomenon. I really dont understand the attraction and these outrageous prices. Its not that nice of a bike. I rode one last month and it rode good but very clunky and less refined compared to my 250 two strokes - thats my opinion.

I also don't understand why a sweet tri-z can't bring in 1200.

i don't understand this either.derrick adams sold one of the sweetest z's i have ever seen for a grand.thats all he could get outta it.the z's are good bikes,no 250r,but they are a respectable performer.
