Hi everyone, this is a great site! I was talking with a buddy of mine ,whom I hadn't seen in a while, about hopping up my R; since he used to race them back in the day. I told him what I really wanted was a Tri-Z. He told me he had one and I asked how much. He said "come and get it!" I was in his driveway by the time he hung up the phone! It needs a few things, but it's in pretty good shape, all things considered.

wow.. lucky... wish i could get lucky like this.. but threewheelers are insanely scarce around here... not usually any half decent machines for about 50 miles.. and only about 2 other people with threewheelers that i know about near here... looks pretty solid... does it run??? whats it need?

I would give you twice that for it:). and throw in a case of beer as sales tax:beer . You can't beat free, especially when it is a Z. Looks like he was a trail rider, judging by the tires. What is wrong with it?

That is a nice looking Z! I like the red and black on it. Let me know if you ever want to give it away! ;)

I'm east of Goshen a few miles. The most immediate needs are swingarm bushings and axle bearings. Do Yamaha dealers still stock these? If not, can anyone point me in the right direction? He told me it ran last time he tried it; I kicked it over a few times and it seems a little low on compression. I'll check it this weekend. The clutch slips when you get on it, but I picked one up off of ebay this week. Shock pogo's as well.
The story on it is this: my buddy does some mechanic work in his garage evenings, and some guy brought this to him a few years ago and wanted it fixed up. When he got an estimate of the cost he wigged out and told him just to get rid of it. My buddy wanted it out of his garage. He also gave me a running ATC 90, which is great, because I had one as a kid.
Does anyone know if the Warrior shock is a direct bolt-on, or does it take some mods? Thanks.

Thanks for the link; I work in Middlebury and do a lot of fishing in Mottville, Klinger Lake and the surrounding area. Had no idea there were other 3 wheeler guys in the area!

That would be great! I used to have a great gravel pit behind Mullet's Garage to ride, but the high school expansion ended that.

That's awesome! Man, I have wanted to scuba dive for a long time; maybe you can show me how to get started. The are some huge smallies in there; you ever get a big one out of there?

Another choice is dads for bearings. Very highly regarded + respected on this site as well as elsewhere.

His feed back speaks for its self in the member feedback section too.

I would like to second this, Dads is the way to go. Its always good to keep the moolah on the boards, to be able to do that and do it with a great guy is a plus. Great product and a great price.

Truthfully, I think you overpaid for it!

Seriously though, I believe everyone gets whats coming to them, you must have done some good things in the past. That machine running would pull a good grand where I'm from.

Good for you.
