P.S do not call me for his phone number, and please do not hassle jesses for info or email info. this guy enjoys his privacy, and i will not divulge any of his personal information.

Well im not saying you are a liar or not, BUT if you really did talk to him, maybe you should send him towards my father...Erectordale. He has to have one of the biggest tiger collections on here and im sure he'd almost give his left nut to meet/ talk to this guy. :w00t:

Does anybody here have a rough idea of how many Tigers were ever produced?

We should put together some questions for Mohawk to ask Pete Wood.

risccas - How many Tigers were produced?

Ask about factory riders (were there any)

Ask about his thoughts on the consent Decree

Maybe send him towards these boards and we can set up a sticky for him to have a Q&A like done with Mike Coe.

Ask him if he has any blueprints or something! Measurments or anything..... I can't believe that this guy owned this business and dosn't have anything left from the company?!?!?!?! Ask him for brochures that can be scanned or fact sheets! And of coarse PICTURES!!!!!!!

This has got to be one of the, if not the, greatest dig in 3WW history!!!

i thought i had read somewhere that the tiger factory was tore down in early 2000. I might be mistaken though.

There is a thread on the boards about it. And an ariel photo of where it Used to be. I read it was tore down also. Maybe Peter Wood can clear this up.

I've been talking to him for a year I've asked many questions, most of the ones that have already been asked in the previous posts, some get answered and some don't, most of the ones that are of any importance are in my other post. Maybe since this will be a in person meeting a lot of questions will get cleared up.

It would be more of a Collector Item with his signatures and any info he could include in the sale of this trike. I bet you could get another grand from the Authenticity aspect and the 98% original Tiger. Just my 2 cents

wow, that stinks knowing he's going to sign it and that it is already up for auction:( .. to bad you didn't know all this before hand because that is going to be the one and only machine to have for the major trike collector in my opinion. In the other hand its great you get to meet this person in person and great for the winner too.
