Well i've been looking on ebay for main bearings for my 85/89 R engine that im going to be rebuilding but all i see is cheap bearings with no brand names. Is all balls good? should i get stock?

I would not dick around with main bearings. Use stock first - search online for a good deal from a OEM or I've liked and had good results from SKF or NSK or NACHI.

No name EBAY stuff is ok for wheel bearings but inside my motor I want good stuff.

I believe ALL BALLS are quality products. I ran the rear swingarm bearings in my 400EX over Moose and they lasted longer and I heard somewhere thats what "dads" on the board sells.....

OEM CR500 mains from Service Honda, about 22 bucks each. They have 8 internal roller balls instead of the stock 7, and last longer. Part number 91003-KA4-771

your sure they'll fit and they are better? I think i heard tell of using cr500 bearings one time but never really heard if it actually worked and worked better than the 250r bearings.
